And I have some quiestions. The text about properties says: root Root properties may only appear in root nodes. Root nodes are the first nodes of gametrees, which are direct decents from a collection (i.e. not gametrees within other gametrees). They define some global 'attributes' such as board-size, kind of game, used file format etc. This text says, "Root nodes are the first nodes of gametrees". Can there be more then one root node in a gametree? And is there always a root node? As I see it FF[] is not optional when you want FF[4]. So that should always be in the root node. But if I use default values for all root properties. And no gameinfo. And the first thing I have to put in the file is a move. How should that be handled? Should I put a EMPTY node first? Is empty nodes possible? Why do I ask this. Because, as I se things. The state at the root node is what should be displayed when the file is loaded. And when I make one step forward I should get the next node. And I don't want the first move displayed when the file is loaded. One way to handle this is to display the first node with a setup or the state of the node before the first node. Does the standard say anything about this? Sorry if I ask questions already discussed here. And I'm also sorry that I ask these questions like the last second. I know Arno Hollosi wants to release this now. Jens Yllman
